AEE’s Ryan Katofsky!

Ryan supports AEE’s various initiatives with data-driven analysis, research, and thought leadership. He also oversees AEE’s regulatory work and plays a leading role in AEE’s 21st Century Electricity System Initiative, which focuses on accelerating regulatory and business model change in the electric power sector. Prior to joining AEE in 2013 he spent 20 years as a consultant to the advanced energy industry, where his work included market and technology assessment, economic analysis, business strategy development, due diligence, lifecycle energy and environmental assessment, long-range energy planning, and analysis of public sector renewable energy programs.

Ryan has agreed to share his expert perspective on our Act 129 reform panel. Scheduled for 10 am on Friday, October 26th, this panel promises to be a forward-looking discussion about legislation that will revitalize Pennsylvania’s flagship energy efficiency law and potentially reshape the industry. Attendees will learn how new legislation could improve the energy efficiency landscape in Pennsylvania, how members of the industry can support this legislation, and what we can learn from other states’ experiences reforming their energy efficiency laws.
