It is our absolute pleasure to spotlight Lloyd Kass as a KEEA conference panelist. Lloyd is a strong champion for KEEA: often his is the first name on KEEA’s sign-on letters, and his organization’s continued support through membership and networking has helped to bolster KEEA’s spirits through trying times.
Lloyd serves as the Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Lime Energy, an innovative provider of integrated energy efficiency program services and technology solutions. In the last 10 years, Lime has completed 140,000 small business energy efficiency projects and delivered 1.5 million MWh of annual energy savings. Prior to joining Lime Energy in 2015, Lloyd spent ten years in public service with the New York City Power Authority and the New York City Housing Authority, where he ultimately achieved the role of Energy Director. He also founded and led the regional office of Willdan Energy Solutions, a private energy efficiency consulting firm, and since 2009 has taught graduate courses at Columbia in public administration and sustainable policy. In April of 2018, Lloyd joined the board of directors for the South-Central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER).
Lloyd will bring over 20 years of energy efficiency program management experience to our “Mind the Gap” panel, which will explore the challenges in bringing program design to fruition through implementation. This panel will include stakeholders from various parts of the process who will examine ways to stay true to goals, incorporate feedback from the field, and ensure success as we look ahead to Act 129 Phase IV.
Thank you for being a KEEA champion, Lloyd!
